Announcing our new QCYC Vice Commodore

It is with great pleasure, that I announce the appointment of Stuart Dickson as our new QCYC Vice Commodore, effective immediately. Stuart is the immediate Past Commodore of the Royal Geelong Yacht Club. We have had the great pleasure of working alongside Stuart in his role as Chairman of the Geelong Wooden Boat Festival as he worked tirelessly to develop this as a very successful event on the RGYC Club calendar. He is a wonderful and generous leader whose energy and drive are infectious.

Stuart and his wife, Pam, own a beautiful wooden boat called Patternmaker that Stuart built and named in honor of his late father. They have circumnavigated Tasmania in the VDLC and race regularly in Corio Bay, living locally and retiring to Barwon Heads recently, Stuart is keen to roll up his sleeves to support our Club. His skills in project management will certainly come in handy as we move forward to rebuild our North Wharf.

We welcome Stuart as our new Flag Officer and Vice Commodore.
